To purchase a property in Bulgaria is really very easy

To be honest there is only one golden rule to remember

Always use a solicitor

This is why we have an English speaking solicitor for all our clients to use

He has been a fully qualified solicitor for many years and is also a court solicitor, so his knowledge is vast

We have a special agreement with him for our clients regarding fees, so you will never have to worry how much work he does for you, you will only pay the same as everyone else

The set fee for this is 500 Euros

Being a solicitor and helping people has been his whole life and he is very proud that he has been able to help so many people, so much so, that his son, is soon to qualify as a solicitor himself

                 Although Thomas does all of the work for you, or if you prefer, with you, this is what he does, first he will make sure that the house, garden, or if apartment, plans and paperwork are all in order, taxes and all bills are up to date

Bank account to be opened in a company name which you will choose, this can be as easy as calling it ABC

You will then need to deposit 2,600 Euro, which you can use towards purchasing the property you are buying

You will then need to have a personal bank account, debit and credit cards ordered

Once this is done, you will be ready to go to the notary to sign and pay your taxes, try to allow around 3% for this

The whole of the process will take around 2 months, sometimes a little less

Thomas can also arrange for wills and any other legal service which you may want to have done

And if you’re worried about having time to come and sign for your property, all you need to do is sign a paper for Thomas to do this on your behalf
